From The Inner Space

My name is Ligita, apart from being a poet-blogger, I’m a journalism student. I’m 21, although it hardly ever feels like it. Sometimes I feel wise beyond my years (they key word there is ‘feel’) and sometimes I feel as helpless and clueless about things as a little child. I know my poems vary from passionate love poems, to quiet disturbing pieces of heartbreak, drugs and so on. A lot of the poems are written about real people in my life, others are simply wanderings of my imagination and placing myself in different situations… No matter how disturbing, I’m lucky enough to have a loving boyfriend and lovely friends; without their support and inspiration I wouldn’t be half the poet I am. I talk about God a lot in my poems, so just to clear things up - I’m a pantheist, I like alluding to him as a character anyway. I’m also vegan, there will be a poem about that too, eventually!
